Levi Smith took over the role of CEO of Boise, Idaho-based Franklin Building Supply in early 2022. From the very beginning, he embraced the idea that we wasn’t merely in the lumber business—he was in the people business.
And he still is.

“I don't know why any business owner or business leader wouldn’t want to go into the market with the best team possible,” he said. “In order to achieve that you've got to have their hearts their minds and their skills all engaged.”
