New chief at Franklin Building Supply

Levi Smith was promoted to CEO of Boise, Idaho-based Franklin Building Supply. He succeeds Rick Lierz, who remains with Idaho’s largest independent LBM dealer as chairman of the board.

Smith, was promoted from his role as president of the company.

Franklin Building Supply is a full-service pro dealer with 15 units across southern Idaho and northern Nevada, including lumberyards, door shops, truss and cabinet manufacturing and. design centers.

Franklin has been named a Best Place to Work in Idaho for three consecutive years. In its third generation of ownership, Franklin is now 100% employee owned. 

Lierz, a former chairman of the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association, recently received a Chairman's Award from the association.
