Roofing and building products distributor SRS Distribution revealed that it continues to expand by leaps and bounds in 2021.

SRS announced that it has opened nine new greenfield locations, including eight within its building products division and one within its Landscape Supply Division.

The new building products locations include Athens and Tifton, Ga.; Pensacola, Fla.; Portsmouth, N.H.; Kalamazoo, Mich.; Gulfport, Miss.; Lakeville, Minn.; and Lancaster, Pa. All new locations carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products.

The Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a division of SRS, opened a new location in The Villages, Fla. carrying a full line of landscape products.

SRS said that the opening of new branches in eight different states reflects its’ continued focus on expanding the company’s footprint across the country. With a balanced mix of “in-fill” market and new MSA locations, this latest group of greenfields will allow SRS to enhance service to customers.

Greenfields will continue to play an integral role in SRS’ path to building the strongest national network of independent distributor brands in the industry, the company said.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of nine new greenfields across the Midwest, Southeast, and East coast,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution. “Thanks to the diligent effort of our branch expansion and operations teams our capabilities to expand in strategic markets has never been greater.”

Tinker noted that SRS expects to open additional new branches in 2021.

Based in McKinney, Texas, SRS operates more than 440 locations in 45 states. SRS is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.

In February, SRS Distribution acquired Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son, Inc. (LTO), a distributor of commercial and residential roofing and related products with 12 locations in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia.
