Sioux Chief, a rough plumbing manufacturer based in Kansas City, has named Michael Foster and Mike Stallings as its two new national sales directors.

General Pipe Cleaners, a division of General Wire Spring, has named Dave Dunbar as national sales manager. A 21-year veteran of General, Dunbar succeeds Andy Zelazny, who retired at the end of September after 40 years with the company. 

Midwestern building materials distributor Amerhart has made three internal promotions to fill key management positions, including the appointment of Chad Warpinski to the role of marketing manager.

Roughly one month after the Effective Jan. 1, McDonald will replace David Suliteanu, who has served as president and CEO since 2000 and will move on to become CEO of Kendo Brands, a separate entity of parent company LVMH.

New president brings 27 years of experience in various leadership roles 

St. Louis, Missouri-based Huttig Building Products named Ken Schmitt as regional VP of the Northeast.  In his new role, Schmitt will be responsible for Huttig locations in Augusta and Saco, Maine; Newington, Connecticut; Taunton, Massachusetts;  Hooksett, New hampshire and Selkirk, N.Y. 

James Pinto has been appointed as the newest member of Scovill Fasteners' board of directors. Pinto is an executive with The Gores Group, Scovill's parent company.

There's a fresh face at Snavely Forest Products' Marketing Operations department in Pittsburgh. The company has recently hired Drew Garrison to spearhead a number of print and online marketing initiatives.

USG Corporation has elected Thomas A. Burke, currently president and CEO of Modine Manufacturing Company, to its board of directors. Burke will serve on the Audit and Governance committees and will make up the ninth independent director on the USG board.

Jim Ackroyd, CEO of Vision Ace Hardware in Naples, Fla., will assume chairman-of-the board status at Ace Hardware Corp. in June 2014.
