Building materials distributor L&W Supply, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, announced a pair of management moves.

Ryan Donegan has been named business development manager of its Northeast Region, specifically focusing efforts on the New England marketplace. Donegan joined L&W Supply in 2021 and has held several roles, including branch manager.

“Ryan brings over 15 years of unique industry knowledge, which makes him an exceptional fit for this role," said John McLaughlin, vice president of L&W Supply’s Northeast Region. “We look forward to seeing him further drive growth and maximize opportunities in the New England market.”

As business development manager, Donegan will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new product and customer opportunities, and driving regional growth.

Additionally, Gretchen Ray has been named branch manager of L&W Supply’s Springfield, Virginia location.

Ray joined L&W Supply in 2019 as an inside sales representative shortly after graduating from West Virginia University. During her time at L&W Supply, Ray has spent time in the delivery service manager role and selling specialty ceilings. She is also a 2020 graduate of L&W Supply’s Branch Manager Training Program.

“Gretchen’s passion and enthusiasm for the business are contagious," said Jim Nix, Chesapeake District manager. "We are excited to see the great things she and her team will achieve and the world-class customer service they will offer to our customers in the Washington DC/northern Virginia market."

As branch manager, Ray will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and growing the business.

Based in Chicago, Illinois, L&W Supply operates over 250 branches in 40 states. Its parent company, ABC Supply, has more than 900 locations in the United States and Canada.
