Floor & Decor expands in Tacoma

Floor & Decor is continuing its expansion efforts in the West with the opening of a new location in Tacoma, Wash.

Scheduled to open on Oct. 21, the latest location is Floor & Decor’s third store in Washington and the Seattle market..

The 78,000-square-foot store, the approximate footprint of all new Floor & Decor locations, Included in the store is design center. The location will employ 50 fullt-time and part-time associates.

“Floor & Decor is thrilled to open our doors in Tacoma,” said Makinzie Saxey, the new store’s chief executive m. “We are excited to introduce both professional customers, as well as homeowners, to our one-stop solution for their flooring needs with an extensive selection of in-stock, trend-right flooring options.”

Floor & Decor is welcoming builders, contractors, architects, designers, remodelers, flooring installers, and realtors to visit the new location.

Founded in 2000, Atlanta-based Floor & Decor is a rapidly growing specialty retailer of hard-surface flooring, operating more than 150 warehouse stores and two design studios in 33 states.

The company expects to open about 27 new stores by the end of 2021.
