“It’s a bit of a homecoming for Ryan as he started his career in our industry at Do it Best nearly 20 years ago. Today, he returns to our team to deliver the innovative programs that will drive continued growth and profitability for our members,” said Rich Lynch, vice president of marketing.

In this leadership position, said Do it Best, Heine will lead the development, management and growth of branding initiatives and marketing strategies on behalf of Do it Best member-owners.

He will apply his considerable industry experience to drive innovation in the areas of consumer marketing, exclusive brand strategies and retail programs.

“I am really excited to rejoin the Do it Best team at an important time for the company and our industry,” said Heine. “Everything in my career has prepared me for this opportunity to lead an extremely talented team committed to helping our members grow.”

Heine brings nearly 20 years of relevant industry experience to Do it Best, with a strong focus on national product and brand management, said the company.

He has served in a variety of merchandising, sales, marketing and leadership roles, including director of sales for an internationally recognized hand and power tool maker.

“Ryan brings an impressive breadth of experience and expertise to this important position on our team,” said Lynch.

Do it Best Corp., a U.S.-based, member-owned hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative, serves the home improvement industry and has annual sales surpassing $5 billion.

The company noted that it supplies thousands of member-owned locations across the U.S. and in more than 50 other countries.
