Ply Gem residential building products debuts the Ply Gem Pro Academy – an all-new training program for the exterior contractor that aims to help professionals master their skills and grow their business.
“Knowledge is key to providing customers with exceptional service. Ply Gem Pro Academy makes it easy for exterior contractors to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule,” said Jason Flack, SVP of sales and customer enablement, surface solutions – U.S., at parent company Cornerstone Building Brands.
Supported by two of the nation’s only Vinyl Siding Institute Certified master trainers, said the firm, the Ply Gem Pro Academy offers, “customized training opportunities, bootcamp-style installation intensives, video tutorials, continuous product support and valuable resources to support exterior contractors in all phases of their careers.”
Training initiatives include: Ply Gem; Mastic siding and accessories by Ply Gem; and Variform by Ply Gem – with plans to expand to additional product categories throughout the year.
Ply Gem Pro Academy is available to all Ply Gem brand customers. Initiatives include:
- Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) Certifications;
- On-site Siding bootcamps;
- Product knowledge training;
- Field Installation training;
- On-demand video tutorials;
- Material science education;
- Business development resources; and,
- Marketing tools for homeowner selling.
