Since the fall of 2023, True Value reported, it has donated products valued at more than half a million dollars to Habitat ReStores.

True Value reported it has deepened its relationship with Habitat for Humanity through product donations to ReStores across the country.

“Habitat for Humanity’s mission aligns perfectly with the True Value promise of being ‘Here For You’ through community support and great products,” said Chris Kempa, CEO at True Value.

Each participating Habitat ReStore will highlight donated True Value products through shelf tags, in-store signage and social media, along with future co-branded promotions.

Starting with participating Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the Chicago, Atlanta and Denver areas, said the company, community-minded DIYers will have another sustainable, affordable option for core hardware and home improvement products.

“We make it possible for every DIYer to bring their vision to life and be the champion of their domain, and Habitat offers the same opportunity through their programs,” said the CEO.

With this partnership expansion, said True Value, it is connecting the ReStore shopper directly with products, deals and additional resources.

“Habitat ReStores provide unique resources for DIY enthusiasts, local projects and home improvements. We are thrilled to partner with True Value through our shared commitment to sustainable community building,” said Sarah Brachle Wagner, CEO of Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. ReStores accept donations and sell a constantly changing inventory.

“We’re simply offering another way to complete home projects that is good for the environment, communities and consumers, while connecting customers to their local True Value,” said Kempa.
