Trimco Millwork will now be known as Woodgrain, with legacy Trimco locations joining Woodgrain’s Distribution Division.

Woodgrain announced that it had finalized its acquisition of Trimco Millwork in December 2023. The move brought three locations to Woodgrain including Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Denver, Colorado.

“Since the acquisition of Trimco, our combined teams have been hard at work building a stronger future,” said Todd Dame, President of Woodgrain’s Distribution Division. “We have been identifying the best of both companies, standardizing business processes, investing in equipment, and collaborating to deliver more value to our customers. We are excited to go to market as one company and continue Woodgrain’s growth.”

Based in Fruitland Idaho, the acquisition increased Woodgrain Idaho with six divisions and over 45 manufacturing and warehouse facilities in the United States and South America.

“We are happy to be part of the Woodgrain family, and the opportunities it brings our employees and customers,’ said Dick Nish, general manager of the Boise, Idaho location. “We are excited about expanding our product offering leveraging Woodgrain’s manufacturing expertise and supplier relationships and have already introduced a complete line of Woodgrain Molded & Flush Doors.”

The Trimco locations in Boise, Denver, and Salt Lake City, will continue to offers doors, millwork, and a variety of trusted specialty building materials across the combined locations. Woodgrain said it will also continue to enhance value-added services, including pre-hanging and pre-finishing doors, supported by Woodgrain’s manufacturing expertise.

Woodgrain first announced the deal in November 2023. Financial terms were not disclosed.
