Simpson Strong-Tie is celebrating the expanded availability of its popular WBSK workbench and shelving hardware kit with a DIY project challenge led by The House of Wood host and DIY influencer Jen Woodhouse.

The WBSK workbench and shelving hardware kit provides the hardware to build a workbench or shelving unit in under two hours.

The kit features the Simpson Strong-Tie Rigid Tie RTC2Z corner connector, which makes it easier to create strong and durable corner connections with 2x4 lumber using no angle cuts or bolts, and each kit contains enough RTC2Z connectors to construct one workbench. (Two kits are necessary to build a four-shelf unit.)

The WBSK allows project builders to customize the workbench size by adding the 2x4 lumber of their choice. DIYers interested in the WBSK can watch a new video by Jen Woodhouse showing how simple it is to build and personalize their own workbench using the kit.
