Experts from John Burns Research and Consulting will deliver key takeaways from the firm’s monthly survey of LBM dealers.

The NLBMDA-members-only session is slated for Thursday, May 16 at noon ET, and is part of the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association Webinar Series.

Matt Saunders and Chris Beard from John Burns Research and Consulting will present current thinking on the demand outlook based on macroeconomic conditions.

In addition to survey insights, the researchers will highlight areas of opportunity from John Burns Research and Consulting’s comprehensive surveys of all parts of the value chain and how dealers can best capitalize on shifting demand conditions in new construction and repair and remodel.

The title of the presentation: “Equipping LBM Dealers to Capture Growth.”

Matthew Saunders is Vice President, Building Products for John Burns Research and Consulting. He leads analysis on some of the toughest building product topics, including product-level insights for our forecasts.

Chris Beard is Director, Building Products Research. Beard leads the monthly Dealer Survey and works closely with LBM dealers from around the country in understanding demand and pricing for building products with distribution. He also leads a quarterly survey of structural component manufacturers and monitors public building products companies’ earnings.
