Finally, the average price for a gallon of gas declines by a penny.
The latest version of the Quikrete Industry Dashboard includes updates on existing home sales, plus a relatively reassuring sign: gas prices failed to rise for the first time in months.
According to the American Automobile Association, the average price for a gallon of regular slipped to $3.39, down from $3.40 a month ago. Last year, the price stood at $2.13.
Elsewhere on the Dashboard, existing home sales in October increased 0.8% on a month-to-month basis. However, compared to October last year, existing home sales declined 5.8%.
Coming next: Consumer confidence is expected to be released Nov. 30.
