The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association has been in the news lately, advocating on behalf of the industry in Washington, D.C.

HBSDealer has covered the NLBMDA's efforts in support of the ALIGN Act, which would, permanently extend the 100% bonus depreciation tax provision for businesses. It's also supporting the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act, which would create the Neighborhood Homes Tax Credit.

These efforts represent the tip of the monument for the NLBMDA, which spells out its major key efforts in its annual policy agenda. The agenda is divided into eight areas.
