The Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, site of the fall 2021 National Hardware Show, will again host NHS, April 5-7, 2022.

The 2021 National Hardware Show (NHS) returned in-person last fall to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall with the addition of its newest feature, the Habitat Pavilion.

The NHS will return to the same Las Vegas venue in the spring, April 5-7, 2022, with emphasis on the “Rise of the Intentional Home,” and will release more details soon. But until then, NHS shared facts and numbers from its fall show.

In the 2021 show roundup, NHS reported there were 677 exhibitors, with 259 of those being new exhibitors.

At last fall’s show in Las Vegas, NHS said there were 255 featured products, 36% new buyers and 81 inventors.

“Were attendees excited to be back on a show floor? Answer: Forty percent did business with new exhibitors and 70% plan to return in 2022.”

About the new Habitat Pavilion experience, which featured three showcase areas, NHS said there were 25 featured Habitat brands; 81 Habitat Next inventors; and 137 Habitat New exhibitors.

Looking ahead to 2022, NHS announced the theme: Rise of the Intentional Home.

NHS said: “What makes a mindful home? With a new year around the corner, Habitat explores what it means to live with intention and how homeowners can design their spaces with purpose.”

As consumers catch on to this movement for 2022, NHS will explore how business owners can bring this trend to life in-store with a few simple tips.

Topics will include: Make the Mood with Color; Kick the Clutter; and Embrace the Elements, and the NHS said it will explore ideas to help customers focus on an intentional 2022.

“Intentional or mindful homes not only meet our physical needs, but also support our emotional health and well-being,” said NHS. “Personal areas in a home set the stage for many important moments in life, so it’s critical that they comfort, support and offer positive energy.”

Homes have the power to provide a safe and supportive retreat.

“Living with intention also means making considered choices as stewards for the environment that we inhabit. Certain changes can help homeowners easily integrate the practice of mindfulness into homes.”
