Simpson Strong-Tie donates to Girls Inc.
Simpson Strong-Tie donated $10,000 at the end of 2018 to Girls Inc. of Alameda County to help college-bound students in the program equip themselves for university life.
The donation helps provide laptops, suitcases, dorm room necessities and other essentials for girls as they transition into 4-year colleges. For many girls in the program, they will be the first in their families to go to college, according to Simpson Strong-Tie.
“We appreciate the investment Simpson Strong-Tie has made in our girls over the past few years with this annual donation,” said Girls Inc. of Alameda County CEO, Julayne Virgil. “We are grateful for their continued partnership and look forward to serving even more girls well into the future.”
