Newell Rubbermaid appoints two presidents

2/20/2018

Newell Rubbermaid has named Joseph Arcuri president, Home Solutions and Jeff Hohler president of the Tools segment.

Arcuri is joining the company from Procter & Gamble's North American Beauty business, where he most recently served as VP and general manager. His 25-year career at P&G has included spades of global product development, marketing and general management experience, with work on brands like Vicks, Olay, Gillette, Old Spice, Secret and Ivory.

In his new role -- effective Dec. 1 -- Arcuri will take over from Hohler in leading the business segment that encompasses Rubbermaid, Calphalon, Goody and Levolor, as well as the recently acquired Contigo, Avex and bubba brands.

Hohler has been with the company for 13 years, most recently as president of the Home Solutions segment. He is credited with consolidating four business units into the current Home Solutions segment. He will lead the Tools segment from Huntersville, North Carolina.

"Jeff and Joe are seasoned leaders and will help build an execution powerhouse at Newell, one that both unlocks the trapped capacity for growth and creates commercial value from our increasingly strong funnel of brand growth ideas," said COO Bill Burke, to whom both will report.

"These leadership appointments strengthen our senior management team," said president and CEO Michael Polk. "Jeff will continue to build his strong track record of delivery in our fast-growing Tools segment. Joe brings an incredible set of global leadership experiences, a consistent pattern of excellent results, and immense personal potential to the company as we continue the drive to make Newell Rubbermaid a larger, faster growing, more profitable, more global company."
