New president for Emery Jensen
Ace Hardware Corporation appointed Michael Magee to the position of president and general manager of Emery Jensen Distribution, a division of Ace Wholesale Holdings LLC. Magee will report to Ace Hardware’s Chief Merchandising and Sales Officer, John Surane.

Leading Emery Jensen Distribution, the former Senior Vice President of Sales with Crayola LLC will have the responsibility for overseeing strategic and tactical plans for growing the wholesale business including the development of marketing and commercial strategies. Magee’s role will be instrumental in broadening distribution and furthering the geographic expansion of Emery Jensen Distribution.

For the past 12 Years Magee has led the commercial strategy for several leading consumer product companies. Prior to Crayola, Magee served in several senior leadership roles at both public and private companies including Newell Brands, Jarden, Sara Lee, Radio Flyer and Seagram’s.
Magee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from York College of Pennsylvania.
