NAHB provides hurricane resources page
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has established a resource page for providing assistance to communities impacted by Hurricane Florence.
In addition the devastating flooding that hit the Carolinas, the storm brought tornadoes to Virginia.
The NAHB resource page includes a “charity navigator” that allows users to check a group’s reputation prior to making a donation. The association has also listed several reputable charities, who have targeted relief efforts to assist those who have been impacted by Florence. This includes the American Red Cross, Americares, and the Untied Way, among others.
