Mostly positive numbers for BBB

Bed Bath & Beyond reported fourth quarter net sales of $3.337 billion, up 4.2% from $3.203 billion in the same quarter last year. Net earnings for the quarter were $321.1 million, down from $333.3 million.

The Union, New Jersey-based home and decor retailer’s comparable store sales for the quarter were positive 3.7%.

For the full year, the company reported net income of $957.5 million, down from $1.022 billion in the prior year. Net sales were $11.881 billion. Full-year comparable-store sales increased by about 2.4%.
