Moen sponsors this year's HGTV Smart Home

HGTV is gearing up for its annual Smart Home project -- and for the third year, Moen's on board as a sponsor.

The 2015 HGTV Smart Home is landing in Austin, Texas, and it promises to combine the aesthetic of a rustic farmhouse with plenty of tech appeal.

The Smart Home is located in the Zilker Park neighborhood and is approximately 2,300 sq. ft. large.

The home will feature Moen products, of course, including a Weymouth high-arc kitchen faucet, a stainless steel apron-front sink, and a complementary soap dispenser, bar/prep faucet, sink and Sip beverage faucet, as well as Moen's Traditional Pot Filler mounted above the cooktop.

In the master suite, the bathroom features fixtures from the Moen Weymouth bathroom collection, as well as an ornate Weymouth tub filler accompanying the freestanding soaking tub.

The master shower features ioDIGITALtechnology, which gives users the ability to easily set and maintain water temperature and flow with electronic precision. The ioDIGITAL remote makes it possible to get the ideal shower started from one's bed, and Moen's Mosaic Flushmount Body Sprays complete the shower's spa-like feel and provide even more customization, as the adjustable spray faces deliver water exactly where it's wanted.

The home will also feature an in-room wet bar with a Moen undermount bar/prep sink and traditional Sip beverage faucet. Using a remote control, homeowners can prompt the coffee maker to lift up and reveal a shelf with a martini shaker and cocktail utensils.
