Meet the 2020 Spirit of Life Honoree

Bradley Paulsen, the president of HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, was tapped by City of Hope as the business leader to rally the hardware and homebuilding industry around the fund-raising efforts of the cancer research and treatment institute.

Paulsen, the 2020 Spirit of Life Award honoree, will be the guest of honor at a fund raising event Jan. 20 in Las Vegas, on the eve of the International Builders’ Show.

Paulsen’s background includes homebuilding, hardware and more. Before joining HD Supply in 2015, the West Point graduate held several roles of increasing responsibility for The Home Depot. He also worked for Toys “R” Us, Reynolds & Reynolds and the United States Army.

The hardware/homebuilding industry has raised about $155 million during its 37 years of partnership with the Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope. Last year’s Spirit of Life event, which honored Giles Bowman of The Home Depot, raised $3.1 million.
