McCoy’s Building Supply has appointed of Adriana Gonzalez as store manager of its Del Rio, Texas location and Damon McCann as store manager of its Greenville, Miss. location.

Gonzalez joined McCoy’s over four years ago working as a cashier in the Eagle Pass store and after a year, she enrolled in the company’s Management Development Program and was promoted to assistant manager.

“I’m excited to take on this new role in Del Rio,” said Gonzalez. “Since Del Rio and Eagle Pass are neighboring towns, I’d worked a few days here and there at the Del Rio store and had already gotten to know some of the team members and customers.”

Regional Manager Will Krause had high praise for Gonzalez and her work ethic. “It’s been a lot of fun to watch her meteoric rise,” said Krause. “She shows great care to everyone she interacts with and I’m excited for the leadership she brings to the Del Rio store.”

Gonzales says that she admires how McCoy’s cares about its customers and employees. “I want to bring that culture to the Del Rio store, creating an atmosphere with great customer service and community involvement.”

McCann joined McCoy’s four years ago as a member of its Management Development Program with previous career experience as a store manager for other companies in the building supply industry. He served as assistant manager at several McCoy’s stores in Texas before his promotion to store manager of the Greenville store.

“I'm excited for the change of scenery,” said McCann. “Getting to move to a new state and having the chance to lead this great team is really exciting.”

McCann also said that he enjoys interacting with customers while learning about the projects they’re working on. “Our goal is a commitment to excellence when it comes to the McCoy’s level of customer service.”

Based in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s Building Supply is one of the nation’s largest privately held building supply retailers with 87 stores and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico.
