Leviton turns on a new website

Melville, N.Y.-based Leviton, a manufacturer of electrical devices, data center connectivity solutions and lighting energy management systems, launched its newly redesigned website.

The new leviton.com offers step-by-step installation videos, tips and interactive discussion forums, including installation procedures and best uses for various Leviton products.

"At Leviton, we strive to be not just a supplier of electrical products, but rather a complete solutions provider capable of evaluating the unique needs of our entire range of customers -- from general contractors to weekend do-it-yourselfers," said Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton's chief operating officer. "As with our industry-leading product solutions, the new offerings of leviton.com serve as the industry benchmark by supplying visitors with expert solutions on all electrical-related inquiries."

As part of Leviton's commitment to offering complete solutions to customers, the new "Leviton 101" is prominently featured on the home page as well as throughout the site.

This educational platform connects visitors with intuitive training videos and information from Leviton experts, as well as with other site visitors for collaborative DIY discussions.

"We wanted to make sure that our new website gives everyone the tools -- no matter their skill level -- to complete their project, while being mindful that site navigation must be more intuitive, so solutions can be found more easily," explained David Keller, Leviton's senior director of e-business.
