Fypon adds a bevy of new millwork pieces

Fypon has just expanded its portfolio of millwork components to include 85 new polyurethane pieces for interior and exterior applications.

The new pieces include crown mouldings, baseboard trim, trim, casing and apron pieces, moulding accessory pieces, chair rails, crossheads and beams, with many of them coordinating together to enhance various design profiles.

"We introduced a variety of millwork pieces in 2015 that complement the decor of the five home styles reflected in our new Style Guide," said Niki Decker, senior product and marketing manager. "These new pieces include millwork offerings that perfectly match up to Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Mediterranean, Country/Cottage and Today's Traditional home designs."

Additionally, the pieces all feature a closed-cell polyurethane composition, which adds to their moisture-resistance for superior performance in areas like bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and basements.                          

"The new offerings join our selection of more than 600 moulding and millwork options designed specifically to enhance home styles, primarily inside the home," says Decker. "These pieces come in a variety of textures --- including Smooth, Standard Woodgrain and Classic Woodgrain --- that can all be painted, stained or faux finished. This gives builders, remodelers and homeowners many texture options for accenting homes."

Decker added that there are more pieces forthcoming from Fypon for home exteriors, though the current additions can be used in both interior and exterior applications.
