Boise posts sales increases for full year and Q4
Boise, Idaho-based Boise posted fourth-quarter sales of $600.4 million, up 14.6% from $524.1 million in the same quarter of 2010.
"The past year was our most successful year since our inception four years ago," said Alexander Toeldte, president and CEO of Boise. "Our EBITDA excluding special items was a record $340 million, we generated $121 million in free cash flow, and returned $169 million of capital to our shareholders through share repurchases and dividends."
Net income for the quarter was $16.3 million, down from $26.2 million in the same quarter last year.
For the full year, sales were up 14.7% to $2.4041 billion, and net income was up 19.9% to $62.7 million.

Leviton turns on a new website
Melville, N.Y.-based Leviton, a manufacturer of electrical devices, data center connectivity solutions and lighting energy management systems, launched its newly redesigned website.

This educational platform connects visitors with intuitive training videos and information from Leviton experts, as well as with other site visitors for collaborative DIY discussions.
"We wanted to make sure that our new website gives everyone the tools — no matter their skill level — to complete their project, while being mindful that site navigation must be more intuitive, so solutions can be found more easily," explained David Keller, Leviton’s senior director of e-business.

Fluidmaster attacks plumbing problems with new website
Toilet repair product manufacturer Fluidmaster, based in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., unveiled a new website that provides self-help information for plumbing repairs.
The new fluidmaster.com site was designed to provide solutions for those confused and frustrated by toilet repair issues and is built to easily address common toilet problems such as phantom toilet flushes, a flush that never stops and a toilet bowl that won’t drain completely.
