LMC said that at the heart of the company and its network of LBM dealers is the goal of making a real, tangible difference by helping others in their communities.

This year, over $40,000 was raised for six charities across the country through LMC dealer fundraisers and employee fundraisers. LMC matched the funds raised by several of the charities.

The charities included Elle’s Angels, United Way, American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Association, St. Jude’s, American Heart Association, and humanitarian efforts to support Ukraine.

“The work of these charities makes such a significant impact across the country/world,” LMC said in a prepared statement.

The Wayne, Pa.-based forest products and building materials buying group also noted that its team takes pride in helping these charities continue to fight disease and improve the quality of life for countless individuals and families.

“Giving is not just about donating. It is about making a difference.” said Paul Ryan, LMC CEO and president.

Membership of LMC includes about 1,600 dealer locations in the United States and the Bahamas.
