Palmer-Donavin announced that Josh Miller is leading its new business analytics department, Josh Thompson is the new vice president of product management, and Stephanie Kuntz is now director of marketing.

With a focus on data and analytics, the Columbus, Ohio-based building materials distributor and manufacturer, recently announced the addition of a new business analytics department. Miller, previously director of purchasing, will begin serving as director of business analytics.

The analytics team will consist of several business analysts, each with a focus on a different area of the business, including operations, sales, and pricing. The goal of the department is to provide insights into day-to-day operations that will allow managers and employees to make data-driven decisions, ultimately enabling Palmer-Donavin to enhance the experience for customers and manufacturer partners, the company said.

Josh Thompson has assumed the role of vice president of product management, effective Sept. 1. He started his career in customer service, transitioned to outside sales, then to sales management. Thompson most recently led the marketing department.

“Josh possesses a unique skill set with his market knowledge, product knowledge, and vendor relationships that will allow him to hit the ground running,” said Matt Butzier, COO of Palmer-Donavin.

Stephanie Kuntz, previously marketing operations specialist has been in the department for five years and leads several key initiatives including the company’s CRM and e-commerce platforms.

“This is an exciting time for Palmer-Donavin as we make several key changes to our organizational structure,” Butzier said. “Change is never easy, but it propels us forward, makes us stronger, and positions Palmer-Donavin for future growth. We look forward to growing together.”
