IBP acquires Storm Master

Installed Building Products (IBP) has acquired Storm Master Gutters (Storm Master). 

Founded in 1977, Storm Master is headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J. and primarily provides gutter installation services to residential and multi-family customers throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, New York, West Virginia, and Tennessee.

Storm Master has annual revenue of approximately $20 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Storm Master significantly expands IBP’s presence across markets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeastern U.S., according to Chairman and CEO Jeff Edwards.

“Storm Master’s mix of both residential and multi-family customers aligns well with the current growth we are experiencing in multi-family markets across the country,” Edwards said.

To date in 2020, the companies acquired by IBP collectively have about $60 million in annual revenue. 

“Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy and we continue to have a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies, products, and end markets,” Edwards said. 

Based in Columbus, Ohio, IBP operates 180 branches across the country. The company is one of the nation’s largest residential insulation installers and provides waterproofing, fire-stopping, fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors, closet shelving, and mirrors services to residential and commercial builders.
