Home Depot plants a spring event

Home Depot reported its Spring Black Friday event – a seasonal savings on its products – will be held April 4-28.

“Whether our customers are looking for a new grill to enjoy with family and friends or colorful flowers and seasonal vegetables to refresh their gardens,” said Billy Bastek, executive vice president of merchandising for Home Depot, “our highly anticipated Spring Black Friday event promises savings on a wide variety of products to help them transform their homes.”

The big retailer said these discounts for its customers will include a variety of gardening supplies, plants, mulch and landscaping tools.

The company is also taking aim at the backyard, and said: “customers can create a comfortable and stylish oasis for relaxation and entertainment with significant discounts,” and this includes grills and patio furniture.

The retailer said it is also offering free assembly and delivery on select grills, purchased in-store.

Another part of its spring event includes Ryobi, Milwaukee, Makita and DeWalt, and the firm is featuring discounts on a wide range of outdoor power tools, hand tools, and tool storage solutions, said the retailer.

The spring event is focused on what the company described as, “seasonal must-haves for both indoor and outdoor do-it-yourself needs.”
