For the top chest, a built-in power port charges batteries and tools even when the lid is closed. The lid is reinforced for extra strength to avoid sagging or warping.

Harbor Freight Tools has added a 56-inch roll cab; 56-inch top chest; and 56-inch work center hutch to its U.S. General series 3 modular storage line.

“The new products are part of the latest generation of quality and affordable storage and are available in eight colors, all with black trim,” said the company.

The 56-inch roll cab features 23,500 cubic inches of storage space and has a 4,400 pound weight capacity. It has eight drawers, including two large-width top drawers for storing larger, heavy tools.

Other drawer features on the roll cab include full-length latches and 120 pound weight capacity for each pair of ball bearing slides. An integrated single barrel lock keeps tools secure.

The 56-inch work center hutch has 19,900 cubic inches of storage space and holds many tools such as diagnostic tablets, hand tools, and drills, said the firm.

It features an easy-opening door with dual gas struts and integrated power ports for charging batteries and tools. A rubber work mat is included to protect the work surface during use.

The 56-inch top chest has eight drawers, a spacious top compartment, and 20,100 cubic inches of storage.

Full-width drawer latches allow the user to open the drawer quickly and easily from any point on the drawer.

Founded in 1977, family-owned Harbor Freight Tools, based in Calabasas, California, said it, “delivers an assortment of quality tools to pros and DIYer.”
