Hancock Lumber makes retail leadership moves

Hancock Lumber has announced leadership moves in its retail division.

Eric Dolloff will be moving into a regional general manager role, covering the greater Portland, Midcoast and Capital area regions in Maine including Hancock Lumber’s Windham, Yarmouth, Brunswick, Damariscotta and Augusta locations. 

A 26-year veteran of “Team Hancock” veteran, Dolloff started his career with the prodealer in 1998 as the Windham location’s logistic manager. Following that role, he moved to Kennebunk as the operations manager in 2000 before going back to Windham in 2002. 

After the acquisition of Mariner Lumber, Dolloff moved back to his Damariscotta roots to become an associate manager in 2005 before being promoted to general manager in 2006.

Since then, Dolloff has helped lead and create a strong team, producing incredible results—including a Team Hancock leading employee engagement score of 99, the company said.

Mike Boulet will be taking on the role of general manager – retail manufacturing. 

In his new role, Boulet will continue to oversee Mainely Trusses in Fairfield, along with adding wall panel manufacturing in Windham. 

Hancock Lumber said Boulet’s experience and expertise in manufacturing will help him lead all of the dealer’s component manufacturing, with a focus on growth and added services for the immediate future and long-term.

The retail manufacturing general manager was recently awarded the  Retail Lumber Dealers Association of Maine’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the industry.

Boutlet has worked at Mainely Trusses since 1993, a business his father started and ran for many years. After taking over the family business in 1996, Mike never looked back and continued to grow the company, evolve the business, and honor his father’s legacy.

Hancock Lumber acquired Mainely Trusses in 2018.

Based in Casco, Maine, Hancock Lumber’s operations include 11 yards, 9 kitchen and bath design centers, 4 sawmills, and Mainley Trusses manufacturing throughout its home state and New Hampshire. The company also 7,500 acres of timberland in the region.
