Erie Materials announces promotions and new hires

• Chris Files was hired for the inside sales team at the Syracuse branch.
  
  He has broad customer service and purchasing experience and is a graduate of Onondaga Community College, the company said.

• Brian Cunningham has been promoted to the Syracuse inside sales team. 
  
  Cunningham joined Erie Materials earlier this year as a warehouse specialist in the distribution center. He has excellent industry experience and project knowledge, having worked at both national and independent building materials dealers, Erie said.

• Fred Monette Jr. has also been promoted to the inside sales team at the Syracuse branch.
  
  Monette Jr. joined Erie Materials in 2020 and has worked in the Syracuse warehouse.

• Mike Burdick was promoted to inside sales at the Elmira, New York branch.
  
  He joined Erie Materials in 2018 in the warehouse and has served as a driver, boom operator, and trained in dispatch.

• Adam Thoryk was selected as purchasing agent at the corporate offices in Syracuse, New York.
  
  He joined Erie Materials in 2019 as a warehouse worker at the Syracuse branch and was soon promoted to inside salesperson. 

Celebrating its 50^th anniversary, Erie Materials distributes building materials for residential and commercial exteriors, such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, manufactured stone veneer, and gutters. 

The company serves professional builders, contractors, and architects through its locations in Albany, Auburn, Binghamton, Elmira, Syracuse, Utica, and Watertown, New York as well as Scranton and Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

A 10th location is slated to open in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2024.
