HDW makes it happen in Shreveport

With a theme of “Mission Possible,” Hardware Distribution Warehouses completed its Fall Market Sept. 10 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The three-day event attracted more than 1,000 vendors, associates and HDW dealers, according to HDW.

For dealers affected by Hurricane Harvey, HDW provided access to the market via its website. This allowed those specific dealers to take advantage of market pricing without attending the market, a first for HDW.

Retailers in attendance representing over 500 stores took advantage of special purchases, educational seminars, new product information and over 400 vendor booths.

Over $70,000 was awarded in prize money to over 400 dealers at the event.

HDW also announced it will be holding its spring market in Dallas, Texas for the first time.  The event will be held January 19-21 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
