Craftsman garden tractor

Mowing or towing, it’s designed to provide power, and work on big yards.

The tractor has large tires for traction control on rough terrain. The company describes it as: “A comfortable ride thanks to the 15-inch premium seat with armrests and soft-touch steering wheel.”

Craftsman has launched its T4400 54-inch gas garden tractor.

“As our newest garden tractor, the T4400 provides consumers with large properties a solution to handle tough yard work,” said Aldon Blackwood, director, ground supported product management, at parent firm Stanley Black & Decker.

This latest addition to its lineup of riding lawn mowers, said the company, is designed to provide the power and performance needed to tackle large lawns and is ideal for yards up to three acres.

Features include a Kawasaki v-twin FR engine; Tuff Torq transmission; and differential lock that provide power and reliability for large yards.

Also, it has a 5-inch turning radius for precision cutting, said the company.

“Whether it’s mowing, towing or other heavy-duty projects in between, the T4400’s premium features deliver on performance needed to get the job done,” said Blackwood.
