Cameron Ashley moves to larger Houston distribution center
Cameron Ashley Building has relocated its Houston, Texas distribution center to a new expanded facility.
According to Austin Crow, manager of the distribution center, the new location will support continued growth in the market. The expansion is more than three times the storage capacity of the previous location.
“This new centralized location will make it more efficient for our will-call customers and all of our customers will see an improvement in our net speed from initial call to delivery,” Crow said. “The extra space will allow us to inventory more products, enhance our delivery capabilities, and allow us to add new and exciting vendor partners to our in-stock and out-of-warehouse delivery programs."
Crow added that the team at the facility is excited to serve its customers with more products and improved delivery efficiency.
The new Houston location, on East Westfair Drive, will continue to stock a full line of roofing, gypsum, insulation, siding, and accessories for easy pickup and fast delivery to customers’ job sites and locations.
Key suppliers stocked at this location include Knauf Insulation, National Gypsum, TAMKO Roofing, Armstrong Ceilings, and CertainTeed Roofing.

Based in Greer, S.C., Cameron Ashley Building Products distributes roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products.
The company operates a network of more than 45 distribution centers stocking large quantities of building materials locally throughout the United States.
The distributor said that it features a variety of customer-focused delivery options under the same-day or next-day FAST delivery banner.
