The BuildClub says it looks forward to serving Miami contractors in an $18 billion market.

The BuildClub has launched its same-day building materials delivery service in Miami.

The Silicon Valley start-up offers same-day, on-site delivery of building materials – seven days a week.

In Miami, The BuildClub is promising pro customers delivery within two hours.

"With $18 billion of development in the Miami area alone in 2022, we certainly entered the right market at the right time," said Stephen Forte, founder and CEO of The BuildClub.

The BuildClub also said that it will serve all of Florida with same-day delivery with “easy online ordering, and highly competitive prices.”

Miami is the latest destination for The BuildClub, which has moved into multiple markets in 2023.

Last month, The BuildClub brought its services to Chicago and Boston.

"We are excited to be part of this beautiful and historic city,” Forte said of the Chicago launch. “Total construction starts in Chicago increased 15%, with nonresidential building increasing 38% in 2022. There is a vibrant market waiting for us as a new materials supplier in Chicago."

According to The BuildClub, based in Palo Alto, California, the company uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technology while providing a “disruptive alternative to home improvement stores and wholesale warehouses.”

Products offered by TheBuildClub range from lumber, plywood, and drywall, to decking, insulation, roofing materials, concrete and more.

Since launching, The BuildClub has been on the fast track for growth, setting the stage for expansion into 15 additional cities in 2023.

The BuildClub CEO and founder, Stephen Forte.

In a letter to customers on its website, Forte says, “We are not the building materials supplier from the 1980’s with the grumpy guy behind the counter … Nor are we a faceless big box store, with no customer service.”

The CEO also says builders and contractors — from small independents to large construction companies — burn too much time sourcing materials instead of making money at the jobsite.

“We track 17,000,000 building products per day in 15 cities, monitoring pricing and inventory levels,” Forte says. “Our algorithms can find the best sourcing techniques for our purchasing team, while finding opportunities to move materials between markets.”

Additionally, The BuildClub has demonstrated quick growth.

Since its launch two years ago, BuildClub has completed 5,000 deliveries of over 270,000 items. The company also said it has 50,000 users registered on its website, 300,000+ website visitors per month, and 10,000 active customers.

The company already operates in California, Arizona, and Nevada, and said it increased its reach by 258% in 2022.

The BuildClub continues to seek funding for future growth. To date, about $4 million in funding from over 40 CEOs in the construction, building materials, finance venture, and manufacturing sectors has been raised by the start-up in addition to venture capital and funding from a $5 billion construction company.
