BlueLinx names national sales manager of Outdoor Living

BlueLinx Holdings said that it continues to invest heavily in its outdoor living category.

In turn, the company has announced the hiring of Mike Reasons as national sales manager for the outdoor living category.

Reasons brings over 20 years of sales and management experience and has extensive knowledge in the outdoor living category.  

The new national sales manager has worked for a national decking manufacturer, was the previous owner of Suwanee Outdoor Living in Georgia, and recently held a position as sales manager for a large building products distributor. 

“It is my pleasure to welcome Mike Reasons to BlueLinx where I know he will help drive strategic field sales execution to significantly grow our Outdoor Living Category,” said Mike Wilson, vice president of product management of BlueLinx.

BlueLinx said that the outdoor living category has a healthy forecast for the next several years and it plans to service dealers and builders with the best products and service in the space. 

“In the short time I’ve been here, it’s clear the vision and plan BlueLinx has around Decking and Railing is one that will guarantee success for our Dealers and Builders in the Category,” said Reasons.

Based in Marietta, Ga., distributes a comprehensive range of structural and specialty products to over 15,000 national, regional, and local dealers, as well as specialty distributors, national home centers, industrial, and manufactured housing customers.
