The 12,000 square foot store is in Santa Rosa, California, north of San Francisco in Sonoma County. When the sale is finalized on August 29, 2022, Westlake Ace will own and operate 13 retail hardware stores in California.
“Guerneville Fulton Ace Hardware has an outstanding tradition of customer service in the Santa Rosa area. We look forward to continuing that tradition and showing our new neighbors how we live the Ace Helpful Promise every day by delivering reliable service, helpful advice, and products to help them get their projects done right,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware.
According to Westlake Ace, it will be a seamless transition of ownership and the store will retain its name, management, store personnel, and the current product mix – which includes such leading brands as Benjamin Moore paint, Weber and Traeger grills, Scotts lawncare products, DeWalt and Milwaukee power tools, and Yeti coolers and drinkware.
“We have been the go-to, neighborhood hardware store in northwest Santa Rosa for the last 22 years,” said Mike Bone, owner of Guerneville Fulton Ace Hardware.
“It’s been our pleasure to serve this community and are confident Westlake Ace will continue to provide employment opportunities for our staff, maintain our tradition of outstanding service, and be a trusted business partner and neighbor in Santa Rosa for many years to come. We know that Guerneville Fulton Ace Hardware and our customers are in good hands,” said Bone.
Headquartered in the Kansas City area, Westlake Ace Hardware has been the helpful neighborhood hardware store countless generations have shopped at for power and hand tools, fasteners, paint, plumbing, lawn care, pet, electrical supplies, and BBQ grills and accessories.
Westlake has been part of the Ace Hardware Cooperative since 1959, a wholly owned Ace subsidiary since 2012, and currently owns and operates 152 stores in 12 states.
