US LBM expands in Newark
US LBM has expanded in the metro New York and New Jersey market with the opening of a new Universal Supply location.
Located in Newark, N.J., the latest roofing and siding location is US LBM's seventh new roofing and siding focused greenfield since 2018.
Newark is Universal Supply's 15th location in New Jersey and features a full line of the industry's best roofing and siding products, according to US LBM. The new branch is located near the I-78/New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) Interchange in Newark, providing convenient access and rapid delivery to building professionals across the metro region.
Universal Supply, a division of US LBM, has been providing customers in the Mid-Atlantic with the top brands of specialty building products, including roofing and siding, since 1965. The division operates 18 locations overall.

"The opening of this new roofing and siding location expands both US LBM's product offering and local network in the world's largest metropolitan market."
In addition to Universal Supply, US LBM's local building materials distributors in the Tri-State Region include Feldman Lumber, East Haven Builders Supply and Direct Cabinet Sales.
Based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., US LBM operates more than 250 locations across the United States.
Earlier this month, US LBM reported that it has acquired Maner Builders Supply with three locations in Georgia and South Carolina.
