US LBM acquires Truss Fab in Arizona
US LBM has expanded its truss manufacturing capabilities even further while continuing to nail down its presence in the West.
The building materials distributor has acquired Truss Fab Companies, a manufacturer of structural roof and floor trusses, wall panels, and a supplier of lumber to customers in Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico.
Founded in 2005 and based in Glendale, Ariz., Truss Fab serves framing and building contractors for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects.
The company operates two locations, a lumberyard, and truss plant in Glendale, Ariz. and an additional truss plant in Apache Junction.
In addition to manufacturing all types of pre-assembled roof and floor wood trusses, Truss Fab also provides lumber and built-to-order wall panels for tract and custom residential housing.

US LBM said that Rana will continue to guide day-to-day operations at the facilities.

Gibson. "Truss Fab complements our recent acquisition of Crown Components and existing R&K division to further expand our manufacturing capabilities in a thriving Southwest market."
Other US LBM divisions in Arizona include R&K Building Materials, Rosen Materials, and the recently acquired Crown Components.
The financial terms of this acquisition were not disclosed by US LBM.
Last month, US LBM’s Brand Vaughan division opened also opened a new wall and floor truss plant in Lithonia, Ga. and serving the greater Atlanta metro market.
Based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., US LBM was founded in 2009 and now operates more than 400 locations nationwide.
