Chicago—Rising Stars and Business Excellence honorees generated applause and enthusiasm during opening night of the 2022 Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply event.
HBSDealer Associate Publisher Amy Grant helped kick off the event by welcoming honorees and all attendees who “are here to help celebrate this industry and the amazing women that are a part of it.”
Tuesday marked the opening night of the two-day event that features awards festivities combined with deep dives into topics at the center of the mission to support and promote the role of women in a male dominated industry, including a S.W.O.T. analysis of diversity and insights into strategies to build allies and advance through the ranks.

The event draws to a close Wednesday afternoon, but the mission will continue. The Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply program consists of a year-round effort to promote the role of women in the industry in the print and digital pages of HBSDealer.
Looking ahead: The 2023 event is slated for Nov. 15-16, back in downtown Chicago at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.
