Throwback Thursday: These kids are all right
The Oct. 17, 2005 issue of Home Channel News, the forerunner of HBSDealer featured a special report on Fort Wayne, Ind.-based co-op Do it Best Corp.
The feature included an article under the headline, “The Next Generation.” Here’s the lead:
“Do it Best markets have always been a family affair, with several generations cruising the aisles together as they make decision on next season’s purchases. The co-op holds organized activities for kids, but many choose to tag after mom and dad, looking for vendor giveaways and unattended candy dishes.”
