Tando Architectural Sill and Corners

Designed with a slope forward to direct water away from a structure, Tando’s Architectural Sill products offer superior moisture management.

Tando, a brand of Derby Building Products, is debuting Tando Architectural Sill and Architectural Sill Corner to complement TandoStone.

Both products are architecturally accurate and offer the realistic look and feel of natural stone, Tando said.

Designed with a slope forward to direct water away from a structure, Tando’s Architectural Sill products offer superior moisture management while delivering beauty and functionality. As a complement to the Architectural Sill, the Tando Architectural Sill Corner can be used as a corner - or can be cut on the left or right side to act as an end cap to terminate a run.

Available in three rich colors – Pewter, Raven, and Sable – Tando’s Architectural Sill and Architectural Sill Corner are designed to add curb appeal to any exterior. Each Architectural Sill measures 30.13” in length with an exposed height of 2.63”. Corners measure 5” on each corner face with the same exposed height.

“Our Architectural Sill and Architectural Sill Corner offer a tremendous advantage in performance and aesthetics,” said Michael Morris, vice president of sales, Derby Building Products. “The Architectural Sill and Sill Corners provide reliable moisture management and hassle-free installation, in an attractive selection of three colors that will suit any exterior. And with the sill measuring a full 30 inches, it is really an efficient way to detail a project.”

Designed for quick and easy installation, the Architectural Sill offers two additional game-changing innovations: (1) an integrated nailing flange that can be repurposed as a starter strip to easily install the Sill under a window; and (2) breakaway spacers on the back of the profile that can be used as “shims” to transition products that require additional clearance.
