The husband-wife team at Arab Lumber managing a thriving business in northern Alabama. He’s a former North American Hardware & Paint Association Young Retailer of the Year. She’s a former nurse who came on board full time in February. Together Trey and Katie Hamilton own Arab Lumber, which prides itself on service. A healthy sporting goods business has successfully introduced hunters to building supplies, and builders to hunting. “We offer the best customer service with good prices and the rest takes care of itself,” said Trey.

It’s imperative The Lumber Yard have the right products for its customers because getting to Bethel ain’t easy. “Our most unique feature is that we are completely off the road system, isolated, as are all of our local customers,” owner Mike Langlie said. “Everything comes in by barge or plane. As such, we focus on providing the right mix of LBM and hardware items in our store and stocking plenty of inventory for customers.”
