Alibaba.com’s Slyvia Bao, global marketing specialist, reported that B2B sourcing and selling through online eCommerce marketplaces grew by 14 percentage points during the pandemic. “We’ve found that the top reasons U.S. companies source digitally is to find and introduce new products faster, reach international markets, have greater supplier options and customers, increase profit margins and, of course, drive revenue growth.”
Also on the panel was Wendy Zhou, who directs marketing for Topcent, a one-stop furniture hardware provider selling to buyers in more than 150 countries and regions.
