Quikrete Industry Dashboard

The latest version of the Quikrete Industry Dashboard shows the closely watched Consumer Confidence Index falling below 100 to a reading of 96.1. A year ago, the figure stood at 125.5.

"Consumers' assessment of present-day conditions held steady, though consumers noted a moderation in business conditions, suggesting growth has slowed in Q4,” said Lynn Franco, Senior Director of Economic Indicators at The Conference Board, which publishes the index.

A more positive story is playing out on the HBSDealer Stock Roundup, where all 10 stocks tracked are ahead of their position one year ago. The Dow Jones Industrial Average broke the 30,000 mark for the first time ever just before Thanksgiving.
