Sustainability has many definitions and description. Here’s how the Environmental Protection Agency’s official website puts it: “To pursue sustainability is to create and maintain the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony to support present and future generations.”

Corporations and small businesses have rallied, to varying degrees, behind the mission to protect the planet, not only for the good of our planet, but for the good of the long-term conditions that foster profitable and equitable growth.
