Window and door manufacturer Pella has acquired Win-Dor, LLC, a vinyl window and door manufacturer located near Brea, Calif.

Win-Dor is sold nationally and specializes in expansive, multi-panel door systems.

Pella said the brand and product offering will deepen its vinyl portfolio and noted that the demand for vinyl multi-panel doors is expected to grow as consumer demand for home remodeling projects persists.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“Having served the market for more than 30 years, the Win-Dor team has a deep understanding of customer needs, possesses a skilled workforce and capacity for continued growth, and embraces a culture of caring, quality and excellence similar to Pella’s,” said Tim Yaggi, president and CEO, Pella Corporation.

Pella said plans to take Win-Dor to the next level of growth with resources to expand its business – increasing production, hiring new team members, and improving process and productivity.

Win-Dor team members, about 200, will continue to work for the company, serving its current customers through the Win-Dor brand name.
