PaulB's announcement regarding the opening of its next location.

PaulB, which bills itself as a “heavy-duty” Pennsylvania hardware store chain, will open a third location in Mechanicsburg.

The latest store will feature 25,000 square feet of hardware, tools, and repair services. Plans call for PaulB to convert an existing building into a new store that is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2021.

“The building isn’t much to look at right now, but we are already hard at work,” PaulB said on its website.

The dealer is a family-owned, locally operated hardware store that has been serving contractors, farmers, industrial operations, and homeowners since 1947. PaulB serves the central Pennsylvania area with two stores in Lititz and Belleville.

Brands offered by PaulB include STIHL, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Festool, “and hundreds more,” the company says.

Services at the Mechanicsburg store will include glass, plastic, and screen repair and fabrication; hydraulic hose-making; power tool repairs; key cutting; and more.

PaulB is a division of Paul B. ZImmerman Inc. The company began as a modest repair shop in 1947, has steadily grown, and now includes PaulB LLC, PBZ LLC,  and Keystone Koating LLC.
